Product Line Manager – LTCC – Mini-Circuits
A Technical Perspective on Applications of LTCC Technology for Commercially-Viable Millimeter-Wave Passive Components and Semiconductor Packaging
Aaron Vaisman is the LTCC Product Line Manager at Mini-Circuits where he has held several design positions since he joined the company in 2010. In his role, he has led teams in the development of components in a variety of technologies such as LTCC, MMIC, Thin-Film and PCB.
His primary areas of interest and research include millimeter-wave passive components and interconnects, network analysis and synthesis techniques, EM simulation techniques, measurement uncertainty and statistical analysis. His design experience ranges from HF to V frequency bands, and he has been awarded three patents in some of the above mentioned fields. Mr. Vaisman received his B.Sc. degree from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, 2007 and M.Sc. from Columbia University in the city of New York, 2009.
Erick Olsen currently leads Product Marketing at Mini-Circuits, supporting all of the company’s 27 product lines. He has over 30 years of experience in the RF and microwave industry, starting as an RF designer at Raytheon and serving in director-level product line marketing and management positions at companies including Skyworks, NXP, and Analog Devices. He served in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Air National Guard for 28 years, starting as a Combat Communications Engineer, and retiring in 2015 as Commander of the Air National Guard’s first Cyber Defense Squadron.
Erick graduated with his BSEE from Syracuse University, and MSEE from University of Massachusetts at Amherst, has published 8 papers, and has been awarded 1 patent.
Phil Miguelez has over 25 years of experience in cable access network and equipment design and development both from the supplier side and the operator side. Phil was a leading member of the Next Generation Access Network (NGAN) team at Comcast that worked on the migration from HFC to a Distributed Access Architecture (DAA). He left Comcast at the end of 2018 and is now an independent consultant working with several major component and system vendors.
