PRELIMINARY PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The ZHL-0027-1K7+ is a new generation lightweight solid-state connectorized high-power amplifier module which can be used in a wide range of industrial, scientific, and medical applications in the 27MHz ISM band. The ZHL-0027-1K7+ uses the latest generation semiconductor technology and provides unsurpassed output power, efficiency, and ruggedness. The amplifier is capable of amplifying signals (CW & pulsed) in excess of 1700W. A temperature compensated gate bias circuit is provided.
Built-in circuitry provides temperature monitoring and current monitoring. An onboard emergency switch can be triggered with an external TTL signal to switch off the power amplifier in the case of too much reflected or dissipated power. All interfaces to the outside world are accessible through a convenient USB-C connector. The amplifier has an SMA-connector on the input and an N-connector on the output. The mounting base plate has an integrated water channel to provide cooling under difficult operating conditions, such as high mismatch or high dissipated power. Convenient rotatable push-to-connect tube fittings allow for easy and reliable water cooling connections. Integrated transformer cooling ensures a long amplifier lifetime. The amplifier is supplied with a robust shield. M5 screw holes are provided to mount the amplifier to a chassis in larger systems. Easy screw-on power supply connections are provided outside the shield.

The ZHL-0027-75X+ is a new generation light weight, rugged solid state connectorized power amplifier module. One input signal generates four equal output signals with a typical P3dB of 19W each. The amplifier is intended as a driver for high power 27MHz amplifiers, such as the ZHL-0027-1K7X+. The ZHL-0027-75X+ can be used in a wide range of industrial, scientific, and medical applications in the 27MHz ISM band. The amplifier uses state-of-the-art high ruggedness semiconductor technology. The amplifier is capable of amplifying CW and pulsed signals. A temperature compensated gate bias circuit is provided. Mounting holes for an M3 screw are provided to mount the amplifier to a heatsink or cooling plate in larger systems. Easy screw-on power supply connections are provided outside the shield.

PRELIMINARY PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The ZHL-2425-250X+ is a new generation solid-state connectorized high-power amplifier module which can be used in a wide range of industrial, scientific, and medical applications in the 2400-2500 MHz ISM band. The ZHL-2425-250X+ provides many advantages over traditional magnetrons, such as longer lifespan, greater frequency tuning, better frequency stability, precise control of output power, and lower power supply voltage.

This rugged amplifier is capable of amplifying signals (CW & pulsed) from 1W to 300W output power with built-in monitoring and protection for temperature, current, forward power, reverse power.

The amplifer has internal shutdown circuitry and integrated protection functions for added reliability under difficult operating conditions, making it virtually impossible to destroy both in single and multi-channel systems.  The basic amplifier can be controlled externally with a few logic inputs or through a user-friendly I2C control interface to monitor forward and reflected power to support dynamic load analysis, temperature, current, shutdown alarms, enabling the PA, and for resetting protection alarms.  For advanced mode, users may consult the factory for more in-depth amplifier control commands, access to FWD/REFL power coefficients, and protection overrides.
